Hospital Receives New Medical Equipment to Enhance Diagnostic Services
Melka Oda General Hospital has received a new set of diagnostic medical equipment, including digital ultrasound machines, laboratory analyzers, and emergency care devices. The equipment will strengthen diagnostic accuracy and reduce patient referral to distant facilities.
CEO Mr. Mubarek Kefeno said the new equipment will significantly improve service quality, particularly in emergency, maternity, and medical wards. The Radiology and Laboratory units have already begun orientation and training sessions for staff.
The initiative was supported by regional and federal health partners committed to improving healthcare access in the community.
